I have completed my patch and it is up on the wall in Sheffield. I was able to complete it in one sitting in Banff because I kept it simple.

I was taught to embroider by my grandma when I was young and I have used the skill in many other types of art. I have combined painting and embroidery as well as traditional Aboriginal beadwork and embroidery. The beadwork and embroidery share many common elements and can often me interchanged. If I had been at home when I made the patch I probably would have beaded it!
